Spherical Air Bearings SRA350-R45 / 620-39133
The SRA350-R45 air bearing has a stiffness of nearly 2.0 million pounds per inch and supports 600 pounds of vertical load. Typical for the SRA series, these spherical air bearings provide smooth, frictionless rotary motion surpassing performance of the finest rolling element bearings by orders of magnitude. Pneumatic hammering of the air film can plague an air bearing design and result in unstable bearing performance. Unlike other spherical air bearings, the SRA series eliminates this possibility by including vibration dampening features within the design.
